Lynxedge Solutions is growing, and we are assisting our client in their search for an IT Service Coordinator to join their collaborative Vancouver technology team. This role is ideal for an experienced IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating technical work, and takes pride in delivering an exceptional client experience.
As the IT Service Coordinator, you will play a central role in managing the service desk workflow across both Vancouver and Victoria operations. You will be responsible for prioritizing and assigning work, coordinating technician activities, and ensuring clear, proactive communication with clients. This is not a hands-on technical support role, but rather a coordination-focused position that ensures service delivery runs smoothly and efficiently.

Your day as the IT Service Coordinator may include:
- Monitoring and actively managing service desk queues to ensure timely response and resolution
- Coordinating and assigning service requests and incidents across Tier 1 and Tier 2 technicians
- Tracking progress of tickets, managing priorities, and overseeing escalations
- Acting as the primary coordination point for client communication, updates, and scheduling
- Coordinating client onboarding, offboarding, and technology deployments
- Supporting software license tracking and renewal coordination
- Maintaining accurate and complete documentation within the IT service management system
- Gathering service metrics and supporting reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
- Assisting with process improvements aligned with ITIL service management practices
Our ideal IT Service Coordinator brings:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in an IT service desk, IT operations, or service coordination role, with demonstrated responsibility for coordinating work and managing service workflows
- Proven experience working in a client-facing environment, with effective communication skills and a focus on delivering a high-quality client experience
- Experience working with IT service management or ticketing systems (Zendesk, HaloPSA, Autotask, ConnectWise) including prioritizing, assigning, and tracking requests.
- Post secondary education in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with ITIL service management practices is considered an asset
Skills and abilities that will help ensure your success:
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate technical teams, manage escalations, and ensure timely service delivery
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests and competing demands in a fast-paced environment
- Sound judgment and problem-solving ability when balancing client needs, technical priorities, and resource availability
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to safely lift 40 pounds and move comfortably in office environments
- Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check
