On behalf of our client, Michael Green Architecture (MGA), we are seeking a Finance Manager to help guide the financial health and performance of one of the world’s leading sustainable design firms in Vancouver, BC.

As Finance Manager, you’ll help MGA make smarter decisions, strengthen project performance, and improve financial visibility across the studio. You’ll lead forecasting, reporting, project financial performance, and accounting operations while serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
You’ll partner closely with Principals, Studio Leaders, and Project Managers, translating financial information into meaningful business decisions that support both creative excellence and sustainable growth.
What You’ll Do
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow planning
- Partner with Project Managers and Studio Leaders to monitor project performance and profitability
- Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations that support business decisions
- Oversee project billing, collections, and revenue management
- Champion the effective use of CMAP to improve reporting, forecasting, and project insights
- Lead and support an Accountant responsible for bookkeeping and payroll
- Strengthen financial systems, reporting processes, and internal controls across the studio
- Help create the financial clarity that allows great projects to thrive
What You’ll Bring
- CPA designation required
- 7+ years of progressive finance or accounting experience
- Experience within architecture, engineering, consulting, construction, or other project-based professional services environments
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, project accounting, and financial reporting expertise
- The ability to translate numbers into stories, insights, and action
- A systems-oriented mindset and passion for continuous improvement
- Experience leading or mentoring accounting professionals
- Experience with CMAP or similar project management systems is an asset
