Our client, Quester Tangent, is growing, and they have a new opportunity for a client-facing Senior Project Manager to join their talented, multidisciplinary team in Victoria, BC. Proven experience managing technical hardware and software development projects in a regulated environment is key to this role, and the ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment is essential to your success.

What could your day as Senior Project Manager hold?
- Managing project scope, schedules, and budgets, and ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client expectations.
- Building and maintaining professional relationships through exceptional client interactions and collaboration.
- Mentoring team members to foster strategic thinking and enhance departmental performance.
- Overseeing project management activities, and promoting efficiency and continuous improvement in processes.
- Developing a thorough understanding of project contracts and utilizing a “contract first” approach.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to achieve on-time and on-budget project delivery aligned with corporate goals.
- Identifying and resolving project risks and issues to maintain progress and client satisfaction.
- Being available for national and international travel to support project objectives.

Our ideal Senior Project Manager brings:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- PMP Certification (preferred).
- 8+ years of technical project management experience is required, with experience managing and mentoring team members in a technology-based company.
- Experience managing hardware and software development projects is required, and experience managing projects with a value of greater than CAD $1,000,000.00, and a project operational period of at least 18 months would be highly beneficial.
- Proficiency with Project Planning tools, specifically Atlassian Jira, or Microsoft Project
- Proficiency with MS Office products, specifically MS Word and MS Excel.
- Ability to travel in North America and internationally (15-20%)
