What could your day as Full Stack Developer hold?

As a .NET Full Stack Developer on their collaborative team, you will be directly involved in the execution of Quester Tangent’s server-based FleetWise Software Products with a focus on the design, implementation and test aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle. Your expertise will be used to implement their Enterprise Class Solution that is deployed directly into Transit Authority networks. Your knowledge of Microsoft’s .NET 6 and newer frameworks will be used to implement new features in a multi-service architecture using C# first Blazor for the user interface. Participation in the design and cost estimation of features as well as working to identify root-cause and correct system level defects will draw on your technical expertise and experience.

Our ideal Full Stack Developer brings:

  • A Diploma or Degree in Software or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
  • 3+ years of software development experience delivering a customized product to multiple clients.
  • Experience developing in the .NET eco-system using a SQL Server Database, and a strong focus on efficient protocol implementation and debugging.
  • Experience with coding and debugging is essential, C# and JavaScript.
  • Intermediate level skills with Blazor .NET and EFCORE.
  • Familiarity with software version control systems such as SVN, Git, Perforce.
  • Knowledge of design for test methodologies, including white and black box testing.

Additional Experience, Skills and Abilities that will help you thrive in the role:

  • Experience working with Wireshark to analyze network traffic data.
  • Developing a data-drive application for varying stakeholders.
  • Experience in estimation and load levelling effort to support team allocations.
  • Familiarity with UML Diagramming, specifically Class, Activity and Communication diagrams.
  • The ability to innovate while creating maintainable and testable solutions is valued.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Occasional travel within North America may be required; candidates must have the ability to travel as needed.
