Are you a detail orientated accounting professional in Victoria, BC, seeking a fulfilling Finance Administrator opportunity within a dynamic environment?  Look no further!  On behalf of our client the Victoria Foundation (Foundation) we are searching for a talented Finance Administrator to join their team on an 18-month maternity leave contract. The Finance Administrator will contribute to the daily administration and operation within the Finance team and be responsible for a variety of daily and monthly finance and accounting related tasks.

Our ideal Finance Administrator brings the following:

  • Post-secondary education in accounting, finance or related field or an equivalent combination of training and experience is required.
  • Minimum 1 year of recent bookkeeping or accounting experience with knowledge of GAAP required.
  • Experience in a not-for-profit environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CRA reporting requirements and filings.
  • Financial systems experience.
  • Proficient in Office 365, including advanced excel skills.
