Exciting opportunity to join The Truffles Group as a Regional Manager for the Flight Cannabis growing chain of stores across Vancouver Island.

On behalf of our client, The Truffles Group, we have an exciting career opportunity in Victoria, BC, for a Regional Manager to ensure the smooth, effective, and efficient operations of the Flight Cannabis growing chain of Cannabis stores across Vancouver Island. In this hands-on role you will provide regional level leadership and support for all stores, leading an emerging brand in the ever evolving and exciting Cannabis landscape.

Working closely with the company’s management team and store managers you will be the champion of a great working environment and culture. You will ensure best practices and operational consistency, and research and advance better processes to deliver a great customer experience and quality products.

To be successful in this role you will need to have a minimum of 5 years of retail and customer service management experience, and strong experience managing growth. While not a requirement, knowledge of cannabis products, methods of consumption, and other industry specific information would be beneficial. As a Regional Manager your day may include:

  • Assisting in the development, execution, and review of company strategic plans.
  • Participating in financial reviews, supporting budget analysis, and consistently seeking opportunities to minimize costs and maximize profit.
  • Leading sales and marketing initiatives and providing ongoing review and development of marketing tactics.
  • Working with store managers to order product and maintain inventory systems in compliance with municipal, provincial, and federal regulations.
  • Ensuring company process and procedures meet all municipal, provincial, and federal government regulations and that the business is in an “always ready” audit state.
  • Developing, reviewing, and implementing policies and procedures that are in line with Government Regulations, Head Office policies and initiatives.
  • Providing leadership support including ongoing training and development and timely performance evaluations.

Our ideal Regional Manager brings:

  • 5+ years of retail management experience (sales, customer service and growth).
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant combined experience.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to understand trends and perform market analysis.
  • While not required, professional cannabis industry experience is considered an asset, and knowledge of cannabis products, methods of consumption, and other industry specific information is beneficial.
  • Merchandising experience and the ability to think outside of the box for marketing and creating promotions.
  • Experience leading and developing teams including coaching, building team morale, and performance management.
  • Schedule flexibility to work nights, holidays, and weekends as required.
  • Driver’s Abstract and own transportation as weekly travel is required.
  • Selling It Right is required.
