On behalf of our client, Island Mediquip, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Outside Sales Representatives to join their growing team in Nanaimo, BC.

As an Island Mediquip Outside Sales Representative, your primary focus will be to develop and maintain lasting relationships with therapists and clients in the Greater Victoria region. You will strive to gain an understanding and become an expert in the vast lines of medical equipment and mobility products, Island Mediquip has to offer their clients, providing the best solution for their needs. Your dedication to enhancing the client experience will forge meaningful relationships with therapists and healthcare professionals, ensuring a positive impact on their operations and patients alike. Through your efforts, you will not only expand our market presence but also drive revenue growth by delivering exceptional service and solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs.

  • Earn a competitive compensation package including a base salary of $50,000 plus the ability to earn >40% additional variable uncapped commission plus bonus incentives.

Our ideal Outside Sales Representative brings the following:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, Physical Therapy or a related field, or the equivalent in experience.
  • Proven experience in biomechanics, healthcare, or a similar role with a keen interest and willingness to gain in-depth knowledge of all facets of medical and mobility equipment and related sales.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a drive to succeed in a competitive sales environment.
  • Demonstrated ability for both curiosity and empathy to effectively understand the client’s needs and work in partnership with health care professionals to ensure the right solutions are provided.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment.

Exceptional Qualifications would include:

  • Experience in kinesiology or physical rehabilitation preferred.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude or interest, is an asset.
