On behalf of our client Shawnigan Lake School we are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead their dedicated team in keeping their stunning 270-acre campus running smoothly. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be a key leader in their Operations Division, reporting to the Director of Operations and the Facilities Manager. You will guide a skilled team of maintenance professionals responsible for the upkeep and improvement of all buildings and infrastructure across campus.

Our ideal Maintenance Supervisor brings:
- 10+ years of experience in construction, facilities maintenance, or a related field
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams
- Expertise in mechanical, HVAC, water, and sewage, hydraulic, electrical, emergency, and fire suppression systems
- Hands-on technical proficiency with tools, equipment, and maintenance processes
- Experience interpreting construction drawings, technical documents, and maintenance records
- A hands-on, problem-solving mindset. No challenge is too big!
These Skills and Abilities will help you thrive:
- WHMIS certification or skilled trades tickets (bonus points!)
- CMRP certification (a great asset, but not required)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Experience using CMMS software to track maintenance work
- An eye for detail and strong organizational skills
- Confidence in handling team dynamics and solving interpersonal challenges
- A flexible, can-do attitude with a willingness to jump into different projects
