We have an exciting in-office opportunity in Victoria, BC, for an experienced Executive Assistant to partner directly with the President and Founder of the Abstract Group of Companies. In this trusted role you’ll provide comprehensive support that ensures the executive’s professional and personal commitments are handled with efficiency, discretion, and care. This role is perfect for someone who excels at managing diverse responsibilities and takes pride in overseeing both professional priorities and personal tasks with the same level of care and attention to detail.

Every day will be different! You may be:

  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to the President, including calendar management, meeting coordination, correspondence, and document preparation.
  • Serving as a primary contact, managing communications and ensuring a smooth workflow for daily operations.
  • Coordinating travel for the President and the Executive Team.
  • Managing personal tasks, including online shopping, household coordination, family travel planning, and booking personal appointments (health, wellness, events)
  • Organizing personal events, such as family vacations, celebrations, and social gatherings
  • Liaising with internal teams and external contacts to prioritize the President’s time and projects
  • Anticipating needs and proactively addressing challenges before they arise

  • A highly competitive compensation package including a salary of $80,000 – $100,000 (commensurate with related experience)

The Executive Assistant we are looking for brings:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or Office Manager, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience supporting a senior leader in a fast-paced environment
  • Related post-secondary education is preferred
  • Tech savvy, with advanced proficiency in MS Office and Office 365, and a desire to utilize the latest office technologies to improve efficiencies
  • Basic legal knowledge (e.g. reviewing contracts or coordinating with legal teams) is an asset
  • A valid driver’s license and vehicle is required
