Reporting directly to the CEO and the Owner of this established organization, you will lead a diverse department of creative staff, provide art direction within established guidelines, and oversee the creative process from concept through realization. Collaborating with senior managers and cross-functional departments to meet the organizations artistic and entertainment objectives is key. Proven leadership experience to enhance team engagement and culture, and your inclusive and respectful style will be fully utilized to ensure a positive and supportive environment for all.

- Competitive compensation of $120,000 – 150,000 (reflective of related education and experience)

Your day as the Director of Arts and Entertainment may include:
Graphic Arts:
- Working with Sales and Marketing, PR, and the leadership team to help develop the organization’s visual image, branding and market presence.
- Maintaining and refining website, social media, signage, and visual materials for all departments and the organization.
Photography:
- Initiate the collection of photographs for marketing and provide artistic direction for vision, style and composition.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and marketing to determine the need for photoshoots and schedule and coordinate schedules and shoots.
Visual Arts:
- Create visual presentations (using drawing, illustrations, etc.) to clearly present projects for approval, and create technical or support illustrations to help bring designs to realization.
- Provide creative input for lighting, merchandising and merchandising displays, and develop new display ideas for consideration.
- Evaluate artistic results and provide feedback to the leadership team.
Entertainment:
- Provide direction and support to the entertainment team for booking and arranging stage and seasonal entertainment, motivating further development where appropriate.
- Ensure the safe and efficient preparation and setup of performances.
Administrative:
- Establish and ensure adherence to company policies, budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.
- Provide employee mentorship, document feedback, and provide annual performance evaluations, determining appropriate training and performance development.
- Ensure departmental safety protocols are being trained, followed and continually improved.

Our ideal Director of Arts and Entertainment brings:
- A Master of Fine Arts Degree or equivalent professional qualifications
- 10+ years’ experience in the Arts with relevant knowledge of the entertainment industry, including knowledge that draws from broad experience in theatrical entertainment
- Experience in all aspects of developing and maintaining large shows and displays and comprehensive understanding of lighting and design
- Experience managing and building effective teams with demonstrated leadership skills that motivate, inspire confidence, and encourage success.
- Experience designing and executing artistic concepts and excellent project management expertise

- Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and AutoCAD
