Opportunity for an experienced CFO to execute the overall financial strategy and risk management operations of this successful family-owned company.

On behalf of our client Abstract Developments we are searching for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their senior leadership team.  Reporting to the Executive Vice President, the CFO will be responsible for executing the overall financial strategy and risk management operations of this successful family-owned company.  The CFO will support the long-term financial direction for the organization, integrate work across business units providing leadership, strategic and operational advice, guidance, and direction to finance staff and management.  As the CFO you will be well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from simple accounting to broad investment and banking operations and be dedicated to delivering detailed and accurate analysis and recommendations.

Our ideal Chief Financial Officer candidate brings:

  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field and Professional Accounting Designation; MSc/MBA is an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as CFO, or experience in a more progressive comparable role
  • Experience with family owned and managed business is an asset
