Are you a Business Development Representative – Developer/Builder Market, based in Orlando or Tampa, who excels at finding and building long-term B2B relationships? Your experience with the developers’ market in Florida, passion for sales, knack for building relationships, and tireless drive to exceed sales targets will enable you to excel in this brand new position.

What you’ll do each day:
- Connect and grow relationships: Engage with developers and builders to understand their outdoor lighting needs and present tailored solutions.
- Hunt for new opportunities: Prospect new clients using a mix of business intelligence tools, your own research, and networking.
- Be the trusted advisor: Educate clients on the benefits of solar lighting and Sol’s innovative solutions and business model.
- Deliver results: Meet with decision-makers, negotiate contracts, and close deals that build long-term partnerships.
- Stay organized and informed: Manage leads and activity through our CRM (HubSpot) and stay ahead of industry trends and competition activity.
- Collaborate with teams: Partner with our Business Development (SDR, Inside Sales) and Marketing teams to create strategies that help you win more sales!

- Business development: Number of qualified meetings and pipeline growth
- Sales performance: Order intake, margin achievement, and client satisfaction

Are you who we are looking for?
- Experienced: You bring at least 3+ years of B2B sales experience, with a proven track record of exceeding quotas.
- Education and Expertise: A bachelor’s degree (or higher) and experience in land development or builder accounts in Florida.
- Self-Driven and Results-Oriented: You’re proactive, goal-focused, and a master at closing deals.
- Organized and Efficient: You thrive in a remote environment, balancing time management and multitasking.
- A Strong Communicator: You make navigating gatekeepers and reaching decision-makers look easy.
