What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Business Development Specialist, you’ll play a key role in generating new opportunities, supporting existing customers, and ensuring a seamless, positive experience from initial inquiry to final delivery. You’ll connect directly with transit agencies and public organizations to understand their needs and offer tailored off grid solutions like solar powered security lighting and real-time digital displays.
Your day-to-day may include:
- Outbound lead generation through calls, emails, meetings, and social media
- Responding to inbound inquiries and preparing quotes and order details
- Scheduling and conducting discovery calls to understand client needs
- Collaborating with engineering, production, and finance to ensure smooth project execution
- Supporting marketing efforts and sharing new product developments with clients
- Following up with customers post-project to ensure satisfaction

What We’re Looking For:
- A new graduate with a degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. A co-op student available for two consecutive terms would also be considered, with an adjusted compensation package to reflect the nature of the placement.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others
- A quick learner excited to build a foundation in sales, no previous experience required!
- A collaborative spirit who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments
- Bonus if you’ve worked in customer service, used project management tools, or have an interest in technical solutions
Skills That Make You Stand Out:
- A Background in technical fields or project coordination
- Formal certifications like PMP or CAPM
- Experience in a customer-facing or solution-oriented role
