Bridges for Women Society, a feminist, strengths-based agency with 35 years of experience providing employment services for women with a background of abuse and trauma, has an opportunity for a Therapeutic Services Coordinator to join their interdisciplinary team.  This in-office role, based in Victoria, BC, is a 4-day-per-week (32 hours) opportunity to lead, support, and collaborate in the service of community healing.

As Therapeutic Services Coordinator, you will provide direct therapeutic support to clients while also supervising program staff. You will play a key role in shaping the delivery of services through leadership in planning, promotion, implementation, and evaluation of our therapeutic programming.

Our Therapeutic Services Coordinator will be a Registered Clinical Counsellor who embodies professionalism, collaboration, and strategic thinking, alongside strong clinical and leadership skills.

What Bridges for Women Society offers:

  • A 4-day (32-hour) in-office work week that prioritizes well-being while ensuring meaningful impact.
  • A competitive salary of $63,000–$67,000 annually (based on experience and education), equivalent to $73,828–$78,515 for a full-time role.

What our ideal Therapeutic Services Coordinator brings:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counselling Psychology, or a related discipline (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Current registration with a provincial body that licenses clinical counsellors.
  • A minimum of 3 years of counselling experience supporting women-identified individuals impacted by trauma, violence, or abuse.
  • At least 2 years of clinical supervision experience.
  • Specialized training in trauma-informed modalities (e.g., somatic psychotherapy, CBT, narrative therapy, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems).
  • Experience in intake, assessment, crisis intervention, and safety planning.
  • Program design, facilitation, and evaluation experience, especially in psychoeducational group settings.
  • A valid vulnerable sector criminal record check (required).
  • First Aid, ASIST, and CPR certifications (training provided if not current).
  • A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation (preferred).

  • Exceptional written and oral communication both with an ability to find resolution in conflict and effectiveness in stressful situations
  • Comfort and proficiency in virtual technologies for therapeutic services.
  • Strong understanding of confidentiality, privacy, and the sensitive nature of the Society’s work.

Bridges has been providing life-change through our healing, education, and employment programs since 1988. Our services are open to all women (transgender and cisgender), non-binary, and two-spirit people who identify as a part of the women’s community and who have been impacted by violence or trauma at any time in their lives.  We aim to support those coming to our programs reclaim their voices and personal autonomy, as they learn to achieve financial independence and security in rebuilding their lives.
