Resident Building Manager
On behalf of our client, NVision Properties, we are seeking a highly motivated Resident Building Manager to manage a brand-new rental property in Victoria, BC. As the Resident Building Manager of Verve, a 95-unit building steps to Uptown, you will effectively identify and resolve any issues related to the operation of the property, communicating with the Property Management Team, vendors, and current and prospective tenants. Interacting with tenants is core to the role, so excellent interpersonal communication skills are required. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills will help you to effectively identify issues and communicate resolutions.

The compensation package for this position is competitive. The Resident Building Manager will reside at the brand new property, and will received subsidized rent plus a salary.
What does our ideal candidate bring?
- Previous experience as a Caretaker, Resident Manager or Property Manager is preferred but not essential; a suitable range of skills and a willingness to develop within the role may be accepted.
- A good understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act (RTA).
- General cleaning and maintenance skills, and a working understanding of plumbing, carpentry and basic building knowledge.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, and superior time-management skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word and Excel, and experience with Yardi software is considered an asset.
- Must have a valid, current BC Driver’s License.
